Mallory & Troy
Since I cannot stop dreaming of new fall weddings, let’s reminisce on one of my favourites from last fall! Mallory & Troy were married last November at 9 Oaks Farm in Monroe, GA.
The day began and ended with laughter all around. The ladies all got ready together in the bridal cottage with hair and makeup by Bombshell Boss. In their matching PJs, Mallory and her bridesmaids had an absolute blast dancing, chatting, and getting pampered all morning. Troy and his groomsmen enjoyed some ping pong and drinks in their finest attire! All the while keeping Troy distracted from his nerves leading up to see his beautiful bride.
Mallory did a first look with her bridesmaids (the squeals were heard for miles!), as well as her super sweet dad. Troy’s dad was also playing the role of best man for the day, and I must say, he wore both titles perfectly.
While the day was absolutely stunning, there was a chill in the air that left a few teeth chattering. Luckily, this family thought of everything and each bench was donned with cozy blankets for their guests. The result was lots of snuggling and lovely friendship all around. Troy and Mallory sealed their bond with a sand unity ceremony, and of course a kiss!
This was such a special couple for Georgia Doll Events because a year prior, we had the pleasure of coordinating Sierra & Blaine’s wedding. It was then that we met Mallory & Troy, recently engaged at the time, and started the relationship that took us to their wedding a year later. Sierra & Blaine were wedding party members for Mallory & Troy and the reunion with them was an absolute blast. Drinks were shared and photo booth moments were thoroughly enjoyed! With such a fun group of friends, it was a pleasure working with some of the same wedding party members for both weddings also. It truly was such an honour to get to celebrate with both couples and see their growth from one wedding to the next!
When the tables were set and the introductions were through, dinner was served by the ever wonderful Sabrosa Catering. I am still drooling over this meal!! They catered the rehearsal dinner the night before also and I still could not get enough. Especially followed by a delicious cake and dessert bar by Dulce Designs by Suli. This team not only puts on a brilliant show of beautiful creations, but everything leaves you mouth watering and waiting for more. Lovely Savanna Kaye captured the joy and silliness of this day perfectly and MixWire Productions kept the party jumping into the night. We will not soon forget the pure elation that was in the air on this perfect fall wedding day, and look forward to another reunion from the next bridesmaid!
